Environmental Science

The aim of this learning package is to provide you with a deeper knowledge and understanding of the scientific principles involved in the environmental design of buildings. The material covers the definition and use of appropriate technical and scientific terminology and the identification of the basic principles of environmental design. Once you have studied the material you should be able to apply these basic principles to the design of simple elements and meet environmental requirements within the current statutory framework.
